William Breytspraak, with extensive experience working with children, youth, and adults in his roles at Saint Peter’s School and St. Peter’s Parish in Kansas City, will share ways to combine children and adults to lead worship, explain why intergenerational music-making is an opportunity not to be missed, demonstrate ways it can be done, and list resources for it to happen. Both clergy and musicians, as well as congregations interested in music, will not want to miss this! This event is online.

Will Breytspraak is Director of Music at St. Peter's Parish (Brookside, MO) and teacher at St. Peter’s School.

Will has enjoyed working with children and adults at churches, operas, and schools for more than twenty years. While serving as children’s chorus master for the Atlanta Opera and Washington National Opera, Will was inspired to take what he was experiencing in operas, and create similarly dynamic and fully integrated ways of bringing children and adults together church music. Will has continued this work at Village Presbyterian Church and St. Peter’s Parish and School in his home town of Kansas City, where he also directs the children’s choir at the Blue Valley Salvation Army, and accompanies the Spirito Choir of Allegro Choirs of Kansas City.
